Just sent in the next chapter of Lukas. I can't believe it's been a month since the last one posted.
I'm trying to decide if I want to write a chapter 16 or do a new series. There is some happy ending in this chapter so if I do another one, it will need to start some new drama.
Friday I got a new phone!! After the tears and tantrum when he got me the iPhone 7, this time he asked me before taking me for a new one. Well he didn't exactly ask me. He has been very annoyed with my 7 and some of our link up stuff wasn't working right.
Two years ago he just took my 6 without telling me and surprised me with the 7. I was um... younger and um... less mature back then. 😕I got really upset because the 6 was the first thing he bought me and it was so special to me. I had it all set up perfectly and every little scratch on it was special to me. It was sentimental. He didn't get it. and honestly I don't get anymore why I was so upset.
Anyways, this time he asked and I got the new XS. It's so pretty. He has the bigger one. My dad got the XR. He loves it. So now our phones are linked up again with the sharing and tracking stuff.
We had a fun weekend!! I can't write anymore though. All this Lukas drained me. I hope people like it!
We got new phones 2 weeks ago, but my guy is an Android fan, so I got the Samsung Galaxy Note9 to match his. It has a wonderful camera and I got some beautiful pictures this weekend in New York.
ReplyDeleteYay on the new Lukas! I can't wait to read it.
Alex
SO excited for you. I miss the android phones, but have to have the one he has so he can link us up. He would go crazy trying to do all our connected stuff across platforms. :) Congratulations!! :)
DeleteMine would lose his mind if he lost a little green dot that is his boy.
DeleteI have to admit, I did prefer the Samsung. It has the same processor chip as the iPhone.
Yes! I have even had him call me while he was out on business because his reception wasn't great and I wasn't showing up when he checked in. "You are home?" "yes, you called me on the home phone!" "Good, good, love you, bye."
DeleteWhat phone do you have?
Went to vote with my foster mom today while Z was in a meeting. Our boss asked him to sit in on a telecom. The guy who replaced him in Miami has been having trouble with logistics. My poor baby is not happy, he hates the "AG" side of the company. Everyone starts out there for some reason.
DeleteWent to the Apple Store this afternoon to upgrade. My 7 is still the best OUR carrier (Zain) at home sells. It was replaced. I expected the XR or XS. He surprised me. He got us both the "MAX." His is business black and mine is gold.
Not sure if A does this to you, but it is kinda sweet when he sits me show me the latest features. He has teased me saying it is water, dust and "boy" resistant. I should be offended, I have never even scratched a phone he has given me, but I know he is teasing. A couple sales guys have asked if my phone ever gets used...
I was right on one thing, even with it being water and dust-proof, it still went in a case. He always insists on that. "Boys can be hard on these things..."
I was VERY happy. I see housekeeping getting a big tip!
There is one good thing I guess, with the 7 now gone, so is the tracker battery his brother installed.
DeleteNo tracker app!? That will be back soon! We track each other. I like knowing where he is too. I'm not that exciting but he still tracks.
DeleteYes he gives me a full orientation on things. :) And I drop things all the time. I have a case and screen protectors and stuff, but my phones get banged up. We have the insurance and applecare on them. I dont like the huge bulky safe cases or it feels like a book in my pocket. His phone is the bigger one and that would be like carrying a tablet for me. :)
No, not the tracker app. The first thing he does is void the warranty on the phone by replacing the battery with one that has a tracker that functions even if the phone is off or broken. Then there is the tile in my wallet and a fourth tracker in my watch. He teases (I think) about others.
DeleteWhen we get back to Jordan my phone will disappear for a couple days as his brother's security company works on it.
Zahir calls it "lo-jacking" his baby.
DeleteThe first case he got me looked like something a toddler would play with. I have since graduated to "less robust" cases. I treat everything he gives me like it is made of fragile glass. He jokes about it at times.
Another great chapter of Lukas. He discovered some things about himself (and his father, for that matter).
ReplyDeleteThe story feels like it's done.. but we cannot leave Lukas! If you do go on with it, maybe Lukas would turn 18 and they begin their life together in Ari's home. Maybe Lukas has trouble learning to take care of his Alpha?
Congrats on the new phone! ;-) I have the iPhone X, and I love it.
